“ You start out with home made chips and salsa. The menu has a variety of dishes to choose from. For drinks we like the Horchata here. It is a cinnamon rice drink, and it is delicious. I had a three item combo, a taco, gordita and a sope. My meal came with rice and beans. I was not able to finish my meal. I can eat a lot, but both the gordita and sope filled me up. I took half my meal home. My wife ordered the chicken nachos. The small portion is big and they not stingy with the chicken. They bring a green and red salsa. They are great with the meal. The green is spicy and the red not as much. The food is good regardless of what you order. The service is good and fast. They have a tv with Spanish shows and there is a good atmosphere. Give them a try and you will be glad you did. Enjoy your time! ”
“ This is my new fave Mexican spot! You just come in and seat yourself. They promptly come to get your drink order and give you menus. Followed by chips and salsa. I knew we went to the right spot when everyone coming and going was Latino. Everything was cooked to perfection! The servings are huge. Our daughter got kids chicken tenders and fries. It's so big. It could have fed 2, if not all 3 of our kids. The Horchata was really good and not too sweet. They were serve Jarritos, they have molé and the vibe is very homey. I loved it. Reminded me of growing up in California. Service was amazing. I would recommend a sign say you may seat yourself or please wait to be seated. It was confusing on if we should sit or not. Outside of that, it was great! I can't wait to try more. ”

“ One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Honestly, there are a few other Mexican places in town that taste better but are either more expensive or have crummier atmospheres. Taco Rico is one that's very good and pretty consistent for me (I've lived in the area for around 15 years now). The burrito is larger than at most other Mexican places. I get the chicken enchiladas w/ green sauce most of the time and recommend those. Interesting to see all of the neg. reviews. I've visited the place prob. 50+ times and have only had a few mediocre experiences, but I'm sure that had to do with different cooks and staff over the years. The place is busy quite often so there are a lot of folks out there that like it. I did notice one of the reviewers say he only got "3 chips" with his burrito, and that did happen to me too recently... I actually got just 2 which made me chuckle out loud. ”
